2- Day
Vehicle Containment Technique Meeting Violence Head-on
Vehicle Containment Technique (VCT) is designed to take down violent criminals, and to prevent vehicle pursuits. VCT should be utilized for high value targets. Students will learn how to use the element of surprise and properly timed violence of action to take down violent felony suspects. The Vehicle Containment Technique is designed to physically restrict the movement of the suspect vehicle by simultaneously striking it from multiple sides, thereby preventing a vehicle pursuit. As a result, this tactic will also reduce the risk to the public.
This course will give you the understanding need to use this tactic in the field with your team. This course will give you the knowledge needed to train further to gain the mastery when conducting this high-risk operation. This course does not offer vehicle striking only stationary reps on day one, with rolling near the suspect vehicle on day 2 ending with scenarios.
1-Day
Surveillance School - Hiding in plain site
Vehicle surveillance is designed to follow a suspect vehicle without being detected, while trailing through major cities or rural areas. This course is designed to teach the art of following another person while essentially hiding in plain sight. Instructors also have extensive experience in electronic surveillance of suspect vehicles which will be discussed during this course. Sometimes a suspect leaves his vehicle behind but must still be followed by someone who can blend with any environment they are confronted with. Surveillance is the first step to completing a successful Vehicle Containment Technique (VCT).
This course will consist of a short classroom period to go over basic surveillance concepts. Directly after this student will be put into a live surveillance scenario where they will conduct a multi hour surveillance operation. This course will end with a “Hotwash” of the operation to better understand the positives and failures that occurred during this operation.
3-Day
Vehicle Born Operations- Covert to Contact
This 3-Day course will start with surveillance on day 1. Learning basic Surveillance concepts prior to conducting a multi hour surveillance operation.
Day 2 will consist of learning the Vehicle Containment Technique history, and basic concepts. Day 2 will continue with students running multiple stationary reps. will end this day by instructors set students lose to begin striking a stationary vehicle.
Day 3 - will begin on the range where students will shoot around vehicles. Instructors will bring their extensive knowledge of working in and around vehicles to teach students concepts to help them further their tactical ability in and around vehicles. The second half of this day will end with students completing scenarios where all aspects of this class will come in to play and students will be STRIKING the suspect vehicle.
This 3-day class is one of a kind and instructors are taking vehicle born operations to the next level.
